Message from the Dean   As an affiliate of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) oversees the operations of three self-financed education units: Hong Kong Community College (HKCC), offering sub-degree programmes for secondary school graduates; Hong Kong CyberU (HKCyberU), the on-line arm of PolyU, offering mostly postgraduate programmes leading to PolyU awards and awards of partner universities; and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), offering professionally oriented and multi-disciplinary programmes for persons at various stages of their career, including top-up degree programmes for Associate Degree and Higher Diploma graduates. The three CPCE units, each with their own areas of excellence, provide niche and application-oriented programmes to cater for students with different needs.  Tight integration between units creates a multitude of cross-unit progression opportunities.  We are committed to the training and further development of human resources for our knowledge-based society.  We strive to provide high quality programmes that provide a solid foundation for further study and career development.  Helping students to build capacity through lifelong education is our goal.
