Facilities and Services

The CPCE Information Technology Unit (ITU) is responsible for formulating IT strategies, policies, budgets, standards, procedures, and implementation plans for the College. Supporting over 12,000 students (from HKCC and SPEED) and more than 700 staff members, ITU designs and implements the IT infrastructure and e-learning platforms to facilitate teaching, learning, and administrative activities. It provides computer facilities and comprehensive IT services at PolyU’s West Kowloon Campus. The services of ITU are delivered by approximately 40 team members across five dedicated teams—Network, Server Administration, User Support, System Development, and E-learning—and two functional groups, Training and Multimedia.
