In the 2017/18 academic year, there are 14,319 full-time and part-time students registered on sub-degree and top-up honours degree programmes leading to PolyU-HKCC, PolyU or PolyU-SPEED awards.
CPCE places paramount importance on the teaching of students and creating a congenial environment to facilitate students’ quest for knowledge. Students are also provided with plenty of opportunities to take an active role in every facet of collegiate life. This whole-person development approach helps students to become competent professionals who are critical thinkers, effective communicators, ethical leaders, problem solvers and lifelong learners.
Student representatives sit on the College Board and a number of committees to ensure that students’ voices are heard and that they remain well-informed about CPCE’s major developments.
Student Recognition and Awards
Scholarships and prizes are awarded to students in recognition of their outstanding academic and non-academic achievements.
The Dean’s List was introduced in the 2010/11 academic year with the aim of motivating students to excel in their studies, and recognising outstanding students who have set an example for their fellow classmates.
Students successfully earning a place on the Dean’s List receive a Certificate of Honour.
