Cheuk-yin felt that the programme he studied at PolyU HKCC was comprehensive in content and the knowledge taught was both interesting and practical, such as customer relations, advertising and promotion, and market research, which were all his favourite subjects. The programme also arranged group projects for students to simulate creating promotional campaigns for well-known companies and brands, allowing them to put theory and knowledge into practice.
In addition, the College regularly organised lectures and workshops on further studies, employment, and interview skills to help students plan their careers ahead. Cheuk-yin said the College provided students with a good learning environment and facilities, allowing him to concentrate on his studies and strive for good grades.
He hopes to graduate from HKUST with excellent grades and join the business world to fulfil his ambitions.

Keith chose HKCC’s Associate in Business (Marketing), hoping that he could acquire basic business knowledge and learn its practical applications, so that he could prepare himself well for further studies and career development in the business sector.
“The Associate in Business (Marketing) programme was comprehensive; it covered advertising and promotion, customer relationship management, and marketing research, etc. Lecturers encouraged me and my classmates to take part in an open advertising and promotion competition so as to apply our knowledge and to understand more about the performance level of contestants from other institutions.”
Keith also participated in the mentorship programme of HKCC which gave him invaluable opportunities to learn from business professionals and establish a social network for future career development.

"Most important of all, HKCC lecturers offered us guidance on issues regarding our studies, subject selection and future, and even problems we encountered during the competition. They spared no effort in helping us find a way out and overcome the thought of giving up time after time. Their patient guidance made me who I am today."

During his time at HKCC, Kit-fung participated in a competition to design advertisements for a company to promote the ESG concept (E for environment, S for social and G for governance), from which he learned that one had to be painstakingly meticulous when formulating advertising and promotion plans – even for a simple task such as designing a poster, attention to every detail is needed.
With his outstanding academic performance, Kit-fung was honoured on both the CPCE Dean's List and the PolyU HKCC Director's List. He was also awarded the PolyU HKCC Outstanding Student Award - Bronze Award. What's more, he received no less than nine bachelor's degree offers; eventually, he chose to study with HKUST.
