Visit to Yakult Factory

On 20 February 2025, students from the Division of Business and Hospitality Management of PolyU CPCE visited Hong Kong Yakult Co., Ltd.’s factory in Tai Po. During the tour, the students observed the entire production process of the company’s probiotics drink Yakult—from fermentation to bottling—and had the opportunity to sample the drink when it was freshly produced. The experience helped them better understand the food and beverage industry’s commitment to quality control, innovation and sustainability. By observing real-world operations, the students were able to connect academic theories with practical applications, thus deepening their appreciation for the intricacies of maintaining high standards in food and beverage production.
