Upon successful completion of your study at SPEED/ HKCC, you will be conferred with the appropriate academic award at SPEED and HKCC Joint Graduation Ceremony, which is usually held in October/ November each year.
Academic award parchments will be issued twice a year:
- For students with graduation status confirmed on or before 15 March, they will be regarded as graduates of Round 1 exercise and they will receive the academic award parchments in early April with the award parchment dated 15 March of the year concerned.
- For students with graduation status confirmed after 15 March and before 1 October, they will be regarded as graduates of Round 2 exercise and they will receive their parchments in early November with the award parchment dated 30 September of the year concerned.
Please note that, by legitimacy, the award parchments would only be available upon the start of the official collection period in respective round. Any request for early collection of award parchment would not be entertained.
You are strongly advised to ensure the safe-keeping of your parchment. SPEED/ HKCC will under no circumstances issue any duplicate or replacement of your parchment.
SPEED/ HKCC is not responsible for the safe custody of any uncollected parchments after the designated collection period and may destroy them without any further notice at the end of the following year. Neither replica nor replacement of your award parchment will be issued.
SPEED/ HKCC reserves the right to withhold the issuance (or retract) of an award parchment or any certification of study in case a student has unsettled matters with SPEED/ HKCC, or is subject to disciplinary action.
A free copy of transcript will be given upon collection of award parchment.
Collection of Award Parchment
You may collect your award parchment from 11 November to 30 December 2019 at the General Office of SPEED or Information Kiosk of HKCC, whichever is appropriate.
If you are unable to collect the award parchment personally, you may nominate someone to collect on your behalf. Please provide your authorised representative with an authorisation letter from you and a photocopy of your HKID Card. The photocopy of your HKID card will be returned to the authorised person after verification.
