Opening Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 11:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday and Public Holidays Closed

Typhoon and Black Rainstorm Arrangement

A.  Signal Hoisted Arrangement:

  1. ITU Helpdesk will not open if Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted before the opening hour, or an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory that it is likely to be hoisted within the next 2 hours, until the signal is lowered.
  2. ITU Helpdesk will close once it is announced that the No. 8 Signal is likely to be issued within two hours.
  3. ITU Helpdesk will remain opened if Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted during opening hours.

B.  Signal Lowering Arrangement:

During Term / Examination / Revision Period:
Mon - Fri On or before 7:30 pm ITU Helpdesk will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 7:30 pm ITU Helpdesk will remain closed for the day.
Sat On or before 3:30 pm ITU Helpdesk will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 3:30 pm ITU Helpdesk will remain closed for the day.
During Term Break:
Mon - Sat On or before 5 pm ITU Helpdesk will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 3:30 pm ITU Helpdesk will remain closed for the day.
