Five Academic Members Honoured with CPCE Research-Scholarly Performance Awards 2023/24

In a presentation ceremony held on 25 March 2025, PolyU CPCE distinguished five academic members with the prestigious CPCE Research-Scholarly Performance Awards 2023/24. This biennial event recognises significant achievements in research and scholarly activities, galvanising the award recipients’ institutional commitment, dedication and hard work in building up the momentum of research excellence.  

During the presentation ceremony, PolyU CPCE awarded the CPCE Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Research-Scholarly Performance to two recipients and the CPCE Awards for Outstanding Research-Scholarly Performance to three others, chosen from four Academic Divisions of the College.

The presentation ceremony commenced with an opening speech by Prof. CW Leung, Chairman of Research Committee, Professor and Associate Dean (Research) of PolyU CPCE. This ceremony was also graced by the presence of Prof. Ricky Chan, Professor and Associate Dean (Education) of PolyU CPCE, who presented the CPCE Awards for Outstanding Research-Scholarly Performance. 

Prof. CW Leung extended his congratulations and gratitude to the award recipients. He praised the collaborative efforts of PolyU CPCE’s research community and highlighted the significant impact of their work on both the College and the wider academic world. He remarked that the awards symbolise PolyU CPCE’s ongoing promise to reach new heights in research excellence.
