Lantau Island Day Tour for Business Students

A day tour to Lantau Island was organised for business students of both HKCC and PolyU SPEED on 25 March 2023.
Students had a guided visit to the iconic attraction Ngong Ping 360 and the Big Buddha in the morning. The tour then visited Tai O, a charming fishing village known for its stilt houses built over the water to accommodate the local fishing community, and learned about the making of dried seafood products in the afternoon. Students were also introduced to the historical development of the community and the issues of sustainable tourism in the village.
