Lecturer Mr Martin Wong Develops “Pure ink” Painting Software

2020-08-05

Dedicating his efforts to ink art and digital art, Mr Martin Wong, Lecturer of the Division of Social Sciences, Humanities and Design, recently developed “Pure ink”, a piece of painting software which simulates ink diffusion and water-based colouring effects on paper; it also visualises Chinese brush strokes. Users, both amateurs and professionals, can easily convert digital images into ink painting. This tool can also facilitate the artistic creation of students of the Associate in Design (Advertising Design) and Associate in Design (Visual Communication) of HKCC and the BA (Hons) in Applied and Media Arts of SPEED.
