The PolyU CPCE Student Affairs Office hosted an appreciation dinner on 27 March 2026 to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 21st Mentorship Programme.
The evening was graced by distinguished guests including Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE, as well as Dr Joseph Lau, Head of Student Affairs. Nearly 70 mentors and over 130 mentees joined the occasion, making it a truly memorable gathering. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of Outstanding Mentee Awards to 13 students nominated by their mentors, underscoring the programme’s success in nurturing talent and fostering personal growth.
The venue at London Restaurant was decorated with nostalgic movie posters, while live music by the local band The Other Busker added vibrancy to the atmosphere.
Through a rich array of activities—including training workshops, company visits, guest talks and outings—the Mentorship Programme offers students invaluable opportunities to learn from industry experts, broaden their horizons, enhance employability, and strengthen interpersonal skills. It supports not only academic and career development but also personal growth.
PolyU CPCE extends heartfelt gratitude to all mentors for their dedicated guidance and hopes that the bonds forged between mentors and mentees will continue to flourish, embodying the spirit of “Riding the Waves Alongside You” in future learning, career and life endeavours.
