PolyU CPCE has once again been recognised at the “ESG Green Development and Carbon Neutrality Awards 2025”, co-organised by am730, the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia, and the Institute of ESG & Benchmark. For the third consecutive year, the College distinguished itself as the only tertiary institution to receive the Outstanding Green Application Award – Green Project (Education).
The award ceremony was held on 14 April 2026, with Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE, together with Head of Student Affairs Dr Joseph Lau, attending to accept the award on behalf of the College.
PolyU CPCE has long championed ESG principles, embedding sustainability into student development and campus activities. The College’s Student Affairs Office (CSAO) has spearheaded initiatives such as the annual Sustainable Fashion Styling & Catwalk Model Competition, which encourages students to integrate eco-conscious thinking into fashion design, and a series of upcycling workshops that extend green living beyond campus into the wider community. The CSAO has also collaborated with the Tzu Chi Environmental Action Center since March 2026 to launch the “Coexist with Green • Live Sustainably” exhibition, fostering cross-sector partnerships and raising public awareness of sustainable development and eco-friendly lifestyles.
These efforts have earned PolyU CPCE repeated recognition over the past three years, underscoring its impact in advancing sustainability education. Looking ahead, the College remains steadfast in its commitment to driving green development and supporting Hong Kong’s journey towards carbon neutrality.
