The Research Centre for Green Business (RCGB) of PolyU SPEED was pleased to host a research seminar on 17 September 2024 featuring presentations from Mr Peter Jung, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Mr Matthew Mak, Chief Consultant, from Earth Production Limited.
The seminar, titled "Sustainable MICE in Hong Kong", provided valuable insights into current sustainability initiatives and best practices within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry across Asia, drawing on examples from Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
Mr Jung and Mr Mak also engaged in thoughtful discussion around both challenges and prospective opportunities to advance sustainable MICE development here in Hong Kong. Their frontline perspectives and empirical observations added much insight for our ongoing research efforts.
