The International Conference of Well-being of Hong Kong Citizens under Emerging Public Policy Agendas will be held on 3 and 4 July 2026 (Friday & Saturday) in hybrid mode (ZOOM meeting & PolyU West Kowloon Campus, 9 Hoi Ting Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong). The main theme of the conference is "Well-being of Hong Kong Citizens under Emerging Public Policy Agendas".
The Conference Organiser invites submissions on the following themes related to promotion of citizens’ well-being:
- Public Policy Agendas on Well-being
- Research on Well-being
- Role of Stakeholders in Promoting Well-being
- Space, Society and Well-being
- Technology and Innovation Promoting Well-being
Information about Submission of Papers
Please submit an abstract of 300 words in English to the One-stop Online Submission Platform by the above-mentioned deadline. Notification of acceptance for presentation will be provided by 30 May 2026. Abstract submitted should not be previously published or under review in any academic journals. The Scientific Committee of the Conference will select papers for presentation based on the clarity of the topic, relevancy, and its contribution to the knowledge of the Conference theme. The accepted author(s) should prepare a 20-minute oral presentation (including Q&A session) with PowerPoint in English.
To provide students with an invaluable opportunity to participate in academic conference, share their work and receive constructive feedback from experienced researchers, the Conference Organiser also invites postgraduate and undergraduate students completing a research component or a project as part of their studies to present an aspect of their work. Student papers will be presented at the parallel session(s) or a designated ‘Student Presentation’ session with each student given 15 minutes for presentation (including Q&A session) in English.
