Assistive Robotics Conference 2026
About the Conference
The Assistive Robotics Conference 2026 focuses on the role of assistive robots in supporting aging in place (AIP) through co-creation, participatory design, and interdisciplinary collaboration. As societies face rapidly ageing populations, aging in place has become an important policy direction for enabling older adults to live independently within their communities for as long as possible.
Covering areas such as participatory design, technology acceptance, assistive robotics, and public policy, the Conference highlights recent research findings and practical insights into the design and implementation of human-centered assistive robots. The event aims to bring together academics, researchers, practitioners, industry experts, policymakers, healthcare professionals, students, older adults, and caregivers to exchange knowledge and explore innovative approaches to supporting sustainable aging in place.
The Conference will feature plenary sessions, parallel sessions, and post-conference workshops to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration on the development of assistive robot technologies and related policy frameworks.
