On 5 January 2026, PolyU SPEED’s Research Centre for Green Business (RCGB) hosted Prof. Herman Tse from Monash University, Australia, for a seminar entitled “Reconnection Via Impression-Management Tactics: A Social Exclusion Perspective on Unfavourable Leader-Member Exchange Social Comparison Processes”.
Prof. Tse discussed how impression-management strategies can help reconnect individuals in workplace settings, offering practical insights into overcoming social exclusion and fostering stronger leader–employee relationships. The session concluded with an engaging exchange among participants, underscoring the relevance of impression-management tactics in building healthier workplace dynamics and effective leadership.
