Dr SHI Huiwen
Wen is Senior Lecturer at the Division of Languages and Communication, CPCE, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She teaches literature, storytelling as service-learning, and literary criticism. She has published journal articles on contemporary poetry, service-learning, English language education, and literary education. Her monograph, Seamus Heaney and Contemporary Elegy (2026), is the first book to examine the Nobel laureate’s engagements, experiments, and revisions of the elegy as a major lyric genre. She writes creative nonfiction and poetry in English, and theatre reviews in Chinese. Wen believes in the power of language and literature, and Language Collage practises this belief.

Dr Hazel Chen
Hazel is Lecturer of modern Chinese and Sinophone literature and culture. Her research spans print media, sound studies, and film adaptation. Her published work explores popular literary culture, radio listening, acoustic embodiment in early and mid-twentieth-century Hong Kong and Shanghai. A multilingual teacher and critic fluent in the language of both literature and cinema, she has designed and taught courses on world literature and film adaptations, Chinese film and fiction, modern Chinese literary history at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is also an active critical voice in Hong Kong’s dance and theatre scene, writing regularly for Dance Journal Hong Kong. She brings to her engagement with live performance the same attentiveness to form, embodiment, and affect that animates her literary and cinematic scholarship.

胡家晉博士任教於語文及傳意學部,專研中國古典文學與古詩。他曾發表有關清代詩學、《洛神賦》的論文,並出版文學集《鬱的告白》與詩注《王漁洋詩選注》。他的作品亦見於《聲韻詩刊》、《大頭菜》、《迴響》等文學雜誌。胡博士近年開始動筆創作以推廣文學,並經營一個仍在壯大粉絲群的Instagram文創帳號 (@ineichashitsu)。他希望與喜歡文藝的學生成為朋友,也希望大家能更大膽一點,釋放熱情,一起把香港這個文化沙漠變得不再荒蕪!

Dr Sing Cheung is Lecturer in English at the Division of Languages and Communication, CPCE, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He teaches contemporary English fiction and gender studies. His research on children’s and young adult literature has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and an edited volume published by Routledge.
Assistant Editor:
Anna C (alias) is an HKCC graduate who is currently preparing to be a nurse. She developed a profound interest in literature when studying for her programme (English for Business Communication), where she had her first encounter with English literature. She holds an MA in Literary and Comparative Studies from The Hong Kong Baptist University.
