On 24 February 2026, students from PolyU HKCC’s Associate in Public Relations and Communication programme and PolyU SPEED’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Language and Professional Communication (Digital Media) attended a professional sharing session titled “Turning Pressure into Power: The Magic of Communication”.
The session was delivered by Ms Lana Wong, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, who drew on her extensive experience in strategic communication and crisis management. She underscored the importance of clarity, consistency and trust—principles that form the foundation of effective communication in high-pressure environments.
The talk bridged theory and practice, reinforcing key public relations concepts while offering the students practical insights into the profession, preparing them with perspectives essential for their future careers.
