The PolyU CPCE “Your Journey, Our Guidance”  Carnival was successfully held on 8 and 9 October 2025 at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and staff and creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.

The opening ceremony was officiated by PolyU CPCE management including Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE, Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Associate Dean (Information and Development) and Director of PolyU SPEED, Dr Anthony Loh, Division Head of the Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studie and Director of PolyU HKCC, Dr Helen Wong, Division Head of the Division of Business and Hospitality Management, Dr Esther Tong, Division Head of the Division of Languages and Communication, Associate Division Head of the Division of Social Sciences, Humanities and Design, Dr Joseph Lau, Head of Student Affairs, Dr Macy Wong, Head of Employability Services, Dr Stephanie Lee, College Registrar, and Mr Jackie Siu, Interim Head of Marketing and Communications.

This year’s carnival featured four brand-new games — Knocking Damota, Catch Me if You Can, Lucky Rolling Ball, and Construction Truck Maze — each designed to test participants’ strength, reflexes, and coordination. Winners walked away with exciting prizes.

The AI Photo Booth was a crowd favourite, allowing participants to transform into characters from famous paintings, animations, or even robots, with instant digital and printed photo souvenirs. A surprise ice cream giveaway added a sweet touch to the festivities.

The carnival aimed to kick off the new academic year with fun, inspiration, and a strong sense of togetherness.
