Dr Lee Hyun-ju, Lecturer at the Division of Languages and Communication of PolyU CPCE, attended the 22nd Peaceful Unification Advisory Council (PUAC) Eurasia Regional Conference and Policy Dialogue on Peaceful Coexistence held from 30 June to 3 July 2026 at Yeongjong Island, Incheon.
Dr Lee joined the event alongside Korean community leaders from Hong Kong serving as advisory members of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council. The four-day conference convened distinguished leaders and experts to discuss policy and regional cooperation.
Highlights included opening remarks and a policy dialogue led by South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, followed by a keynote address from Minister of Unification Chung Dong-young. Participants also exchanged ideas during regional council meetings and group roundtables.
Through her participation, Dr Lee gained valuable insights into the global advancement of Korean culture and strengthened her professional network by connecting with Korean leaders worldwide.
