On 27 September 2025, the PolyU West Kowloon Campus hosted the 2025 Joint Rotaract Clubs Installation x Vocational Day, a gathering of four Rotaract clubs—PolyU CPCE (marking its 14th term), Hong Kong Island East, Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, and Education Culture Hong Kong—organised under the patronage of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East.
Designed to promote collaboration and leadership development, the event brought together Rotary representatives, advisors, club members, and students. Highlights included career talks and sharing sessions led by accomplished industry professionals, covering topics such as stress management, hospitality and service excellence, creativity and entertainment, and AI-driven storytelling.
Students from PolyU SPEED’s BBA (Hons) in Foodservice Management and Entrepreneurship programme engaged actively throughout the day, gaining valuable insights into career pathways and receiving practical guidance in areas like operational strategy and entrepreneurship. The event not only sparked their professional aspirations but also provided valuable networking opportunities with industry experts and community leaders.
