Organised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Hong Kong, the ACCA Community Day 2025 took place at the Chater Road Sunday Pedestrian Precinct in Central on 13 January 2025. Themed “75 Years in Hong Kong: A relay of love for a better future”, the event brought together participants from accountancy firms, multinationals, businesses and institutions to raise funds for local charities.
The event’s highlight was the Rickshaw Race, where 22 teams vied for the ACCA Rickshaw Race Champion title, and six teams competed for the ACCA Chairman Tertiary Cup. Students from PolyU HKCC’s Associate in Business (Accounting) and PolyU SPEED’s BBA (Hons) in Accountancy participated enthusiastically in both the Rickshaw Race and Rickshaw Teams Costume Parade, with the PolyU HKCC Rickshaw Team clinching the 1st Runner-up position in the ACCA Chairman Tertiary Cup Competition.
