In response to the educational transformation driven by Artificial Intelligence, the “AI-Powered Pedagogy Praxis Symposium” (「『智』啟學教」實踐研討會) was held on 20 May 2026 at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus.

Jointly organised by the International Youth STEAM Education Association (IYSEA) and am730, and co-organised by The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE), the symposium aimed to comprehensively deconstruct AI-powered teaching capabilities, from policy to practice. The event attracted numerous management and teaching staff from primary and secondary schools and was honoured by the presence of Dr Jeff Sze, JP, Under Secretary for Education, as the Guest of Honour.

During the event, Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE, delivered a keynote speech. Titled "AI-Powered Teaching Application Trends: Bridging Primary/Secondary School Development with University", Dr Chan shared insights on the latest trends of AI technology in teaching and explored the alignment and transition between primary/secondary schools and university education in the context of AI development.
