BHM Professional Talk Series: Career Prospects in Personnel Recruitment

On 11 April 2025, Ms Karen Hau and Ms Posey Ho, seasoned HR professionals from recruitment agency Betterment Asia, delivered an informative talk on the fundamentals of personnel recruitment. 

They provided an overview of why organisations seek the services of employment agencies, detailed key job responsibilities of personnel recruiters, and highlighted the essential KSAOs (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other characteristics) needed for success in the field. The session also shed light on the promising career prospects and competitive remuneration in the recruitment industry. Students from the Human Resources Management programmes gained valuable industry insights and practical knowledge, sparking their interest in pursuing careers in talent recruitment and management.
