On 3 September 2025, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) conducted an induction training session for internship students from PolyU SPEED’s BBA (Hons) in Foodservice Management and Entrepreneurship and BBA (Hons) in Tourism Services Operations and Management programmes. This session marked the launch of their semester-long placements within HKJC’s Catering Operations.
The induction provided the students with an in-depth understanding of the organisation’s operational standards, establishing a foundation for their experiential learning journey. By integrating practical training with the curriculum’s focus on service excellence, the initiative plays a pivotal role in fostering the students’ professional growth and equipping them for future success in the hospitality industry.
