The CPCE Health Conference 2025 was held in hybrid mode on 4 and 5 July 2025, both online and at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus. This annual international conference marked its 10th edition this year, jointly organised by PolyU CPCE, PolyU SPEED and Tung Wah College, with support from over 20 institutions. The event brought together healthcare experts, educators and researchers from Hong Kong, mainland China, Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and the UK to explore the theme "Primary Healthcare Policy Development in the Asia-Pacific Region."
PolyU CPCE was honoured to invite Dr Libby Lee, JP, Under Secretary for Health of the HKSAR Government, as the officiating guest. Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE and Conference Chair, and Prof. Sally Chan, President of Tung Wah College and Conference Chair, delivered welcome speeches.
The two-day conference attracted 900 participants and featured keynote speeches and panel discussions covering topics such as policy development, health equity, stakeholder engagement, and nurturing future healthcare talent. Speakers included Prof. Peter Yuen, Prof. Sally Chan, Prof. Samuel Wong, Associate Dean (Education) of the Faculty of Medicine at CUHK and Director of The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care, Prof. Dongwoon Han from Hanyang University College of Medicine in South Korea, and Prof. Eleanor Holroyd from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.
