The CPCECPR Conference 2026, themed “Transforming Education Through Technology, Equity, and Human-Centred Innovation”, successfully concluded on 6 January 2026 at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus. The two-day event, held in a hybrid format, drew nearly 200 participants across its pre-conference workshops and main conference day. Attendees included academics, students, and industry leaders from Hong Kong, Macau, Chinese mainland, South Korea, and the United States.
Featuring over 50 parallel presentations, 10 student lightning talks, and 3 keynote speeches, the conference showcased cutting-edge approaches to integrating AI, inclusivity, and professional development into education. Keynotes by esteemed scholars such as Prof. Li Ping, Prof. Lee Jang-ho, and Prof. Thomas Chiu explored topics ranging from AI-driven personalised pedagogy to ethical frameworks for human-AI collaboration. The participants also engaged in dynamic workshops and roundtable discussions on responsible AI, immersive content creation, and building global research-industry partnerships.
The event showcased the transformative potential of AI and technology in education, while also addressing pressing issues of equity and ethics. Supporting organisations included Amazon, Tencent, Claire Labs AI, and leading academic institutions such as Beijing Institute of Technology, South China Normal University, Ningbo University, and Southeast University. The conference reaffirmed its role as a key platform for advancing collaboration and driving innovation in education.
