Four year-two students from the PolyU HKCC Associate in Design (Visual Communication) programme – Chan Ngai-wan, Fan Xinlin, He Angel, and Zhang Yi-tung – proudly presented their projects at the HKTDC Entrepreneur Day exhibition (E-DAY), held on 4–5 December 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Their exhibits featured tangible design works from their Client Projects under Design Studio (Visual Communication), including a board game design, a diary-style workbook, a storybook and a set of promotional materials. This opportunity was made possible through collaboration with JAPJAP Zero Waste, a Hong Kong-based start-up that has been a regular participant at E-DAY in recent years.
By engaging directly with investors, industry experts and potential partners, the students not only showcased their creativity but also gained valuable insights into how design thinking intersects with entrepreneurship and sustainability. Their participation highlights the role of young designers in contributing to Hong Kong’s vibrant start-up ecosystem.
