Division of Languages and Communication - Research Seminar

Dr Hugo Tam, Research Assistant Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong, was invited to deliver a research seminar to the faculty and students of the Division of Languages and Communication of PolyU CPCE on 10 March 2025.

In addition to sharing his latest research findings on “Strategies Used in Learning Chinese Vocabulary by Adolescent Mandarin-Korean Bilinguals in Korea”, Dr Tam also presented an in-depth analysis of various teaching methods designed to address the challenges faced by this group of learners. The event, attended by 70 participants, featured insightful academic exchanges with Dr Tam, during which students seized the opportunity to consult him on their own research papers.
