Division of Languages and Communication Co-organises the 5th International Standardisation Innovation Forum

The 5th International Standardisation Innovation Forum was held in Guangzhou on 9 January 2025. The Forum, focusing on international and national standards, and standardisation, explored aspects including international standardisation organisations, revisions of international and national standards, and the application of standardisation, with the aim of enhancing international standards and supporting national development through standardisation. The event attracted nearly 100 participants from universities and enterprises at home and abroad. 

Dr Val Chen, Associate Division Head of the Division of Languages and Communication of PolyU CPCE and Chair of the Asia-Pacific Association of Cognitive Intelligence, presented certificates to the forum’s keynote speakers as Talent Tank Experts of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao International Standard Innovation Center.

The Forum was hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF) and CCF Guangzhou, and co-organised by the Asia-Pacific Association of Cognitive Intelligence, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao International Standard Innovation Center, the IEEE Consumer Technology Society Standards, and the Division of Languages and Communication of PolyU CPCE.
