Congratulations to Kwok Siu-fung, a 2023 graduate of PolyU HKCC’s Associate in Design (Environment and Interior Design), on being shortlisted as one of the ten finalists in the “Student Category” of the IFI Design Distinction Award 2024 with his final year project “Nature Reclaimed: Revitalizing Yung Shu Au’s Abandoned Village with Sustainable Community Design”.
Organised by the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers, the IFI Design Distinction Award received submissions from over 50 nations worldwide. A panel of 10 esteemed designers and industry experts from across the globe rigorously evaluated all qualifying projects and selected 97 finalists across 10 categories representing various project types, including Commerce, Habitat, Health, Humanitarian, Learning, Play, Stay, Student, Sustainability, and Work.
Each category will honour one Gold laureate, two Silver recipients, and five Bronze achievers. The competition winners across all categories will be announced later.
