Establishment of Big Data Lab

One IT lab on the PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus was re-configured and rebranded as the Big Data Lab to strengthen relevant services for teaching and learning purposes.

Equipped with more high-standard hardware and software for data science and big data analytics, the Big Data Lab facilitates student learning and scholarly research.

The Opening Ceremony was held on 2 September 2021, with Dr David Chung, JP (3rd left), Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, as the officiating guest.
