On 28 March 2025, degree and sub-degree students from the Division of Business and Hospitality Management of PolyU CPCE joined the Jockey Club Sevens School Tour at Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong’s largest multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex. They attended the opening ceremony of the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2025 and enjoyed the thrilling matches, guided by experts who explained rugby rules and regulations.
This immersive experience offered the students invaluable insights into the planning and execution of a mega international sports event, providing them with practical knowledge of event management. The vibrant atmosphere, further elevated by live performances and a dazzling laser show, made it an educational and unforgettable day for all.
