Exploring Career Opportunities at Hong Kong Jockey Club

On 10 March 2025, students from the Division of Business and Hospitality Management of PolyU CPCE had the opportunity to attend an enlightening guest talk hosted by The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC). The event featured Mr Yves Thoma, General Manager of Racecourse Operations, and his team, who introduced the HKJC Racecourse Catering Internship Programme. The session provided invaluable insights into racecourse catering operations and showcased potential career paths within the sector. The students also engaged in games designed to reinforce key concepts, making the experience both informative and enjoyable.
