PolyU CPCE and Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony on 21 March 2023 for launching a student internship programme.
The MOU was signed by Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE, and Mr Michael Lam, Deputy Vice President – Asset Management of SHKP Hotel Division. The programme will provide more than 200 hotel internship positions for a period of two years. Students will work in SHKP’s nine big hotels including Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong; The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong; W Hong Kong for a total of 500 hours of internship. After completing the internship, students will not only be awarded a certificate of commendation, but the hotels will also give priority to hiring them as full-time staff.
