The Student Affairs Office of PolyU CPCE (CSAO) held the “Screening and Post-Screening Sharing of the Movie The Last Dance” on 17 December 2024.

Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE; Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Associate Dean (Information and Development) and Director of PolyU SPEED; Prof. Ricky Chan, Associate Dean (Education); Dr Anthony Loh, Director of PolyU HKCC and Division Head of the Division of Science, Engineering, and Health Studies; and Dr Joseph Lau, Head of Student Affairs, were invited to attend.
We also invited Mr Anselm Chan, who is the producer, director, and screenwriter of The Last Dance, as a special guest to share the difficulties he encountered during the preparation and filming process, as well as the educational significance of life and death conveyed by the movie.

The movie The Last Dance is based on the traditional funeral industry in Hong Kong and explores the themes of life and death. The movie was also selected as the opening film of the 21st Hong Kong Asian Film Festival and was shortlisted for the “World Focus” section of this year's Tokyo International Film Festival.
