The Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM) held the HR Excellence Awards 2024/25 presentation ceremony on 28 February 2025. PolyU CPCE won the Excellent Award for the “Executive Development Programme Provider” under the "HR Service Provider Category". The Elite and Merit Awards went to Scotwork East Asia Limited and Executive Education, HKU Business School respectively.
The ceremony was graced by over 500 business leaders and HR professionals, including Mr Chris Sun, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and Mr Lawrence Hung, President of HKIHRM.
Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE, and Dr Simon Cheung, Senior Continuing Education Consultant, attended the ceremony to receive the award. The award-winning course was the Advanced Certificate in Emergency and Disaster Management offered by PolyU SPEED and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute.
Prof. Yuen stated, "This award will inspire us to strive for greater achievements in our continuous professional development and lifelong learning programmes. Given the significant market demand for such programmes in Hong Kong, we plan to further expand and enhance these offerings in a major way."
Since 2012, the HKIHRM has held the annual HR Excellence Awards to recognise organisations and individuals who have achieved success through outstanding people strategies and practices.
