Student Activities
2026-02-12

On 12 February 2026, students from PolyU HKCC’s Associate in Language and Digital Communication and Associate Degree Scheme in Humanities and Communication joined an academic visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where they gained first hand exposure to the Bachelor of Arts in Bimodal Bilingual Studies programme.

Organised by the Associate in Language and Digital Communication, the visit began with an information session outlining the Bimodal Bilingual Studies programme’s academic focus, curriculum structure and learning opportunities. As Asia’s first programme of its kind, it prepares students to become leaders in their fields, using both spoken and signed languages to enhance communication accessibility across diverse industries.

The participating students then enjoyed a fun and interactive workshop on Hong Kong Sign Language. The visit concluded with a CUHK campus tour, giving the participants the chance to explore the university environment and facilities.

This visit forms part of ongoing efforts to broaden students’ academic horizons and support informed planning for future study pathways.
