Wu Junle, a year-two student of PolyU HKCC’s Associate in Design (Visual Communication), won the Gold Prize under “Category Two: Creative Arts & Media” at the “Humanities in the Digital Age” Competition. Organised by the Faculty of Humanities of The Education University of Hong Kong, the award presentation ceremony was held on 13 February 2026.

Junle’s animated work was recognised for its imaginative exploration of the generational gap, offering a creative reflection on ways to bridge understanding between different age groups in the modern digital era.

The inaugural “Humanities in the Digital Age” Competition provided a platform for sub degree students in Hong Kong to explore the dynamic field of Digital Humanities, encouraging them to use digital tools creatively to transform their social insights and care for the community into impactful works.
