The DSE results will be announced on 17 July 2024. To meet the minimum entry requirements for government-funded universities, candidates must achieve 33222. While subsidised study places are limited, it does not mean that candidates with less than ideal results lack quality pathways for further education.
Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED, and Dr Anthony Loh, Director of PolyU HKCC, were recently interviewed by RTHK32’s programme “Hong Kong United”. They suggested that candidates who were not able to obtain a study place via JUPAS could consider Non-JUPAS pathways. They could start by enrolling in a two-year self-financed associate degree or higher diploma programme, followed by a “2+2” articulation pathway to a two-year articulation degree programme. This pathway, like JUPAS, enables students to earn a bachelor's degree within four years.
