The Education Bureau has announced the funding results of the Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS) in 2023/24. PolyU SPEED received funding totalling over HK$6.32 million for two projects which aim at enhancing student learning experience and employability.

The first project, led by Dr Macy Wong, Head of Employability Services and Senior Lecturer of the Division of Business and Hospitality Management of PolyU CPCE, and Dr Steve Hung, Senior Career Development Manager of the CPCE Employability Services Office, aims to equip students with the necessary skills and experiences to thrive in the future dual metropolis city.
The second project, led by Dr Edmund Wut, Senior Lecturer of the Division of Business and Hospitality Management, focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence technology to support teachers in developing and utilising chatbots as educational tools to engage students, provide personalised learning experiences, and offer timely feedback.
These QESS-funded projects highlight PolyU SPEED's commitment to innovation and quality enhancement in the self-financing tertiary education sector.
