On 19 December 2025, PolyU SPEED’s Research Centre for Green Business (RCGB) hosted a research seminar featuring Prof. Agnes Cheng, Dale Looper Chair in Accounting at The University of Oklahoma, USA, and Dr Sun Yuan, Lecturer from the Division of Business and Hospitality Management of PolyU CPCE.
Prof. Cheng presented her study “The Real Effect of Non-Disclosure Agreements: Evidence from Workplace Safety”, while Dr Sun examined “New IPS Disclosure and Local Firms’ Debt Choice”. The seminar sparked lively discussions among participants, reinforcing RCGB’s role as a hub for academic exchange. By deepening understanding of disclosure’s impact on accounting and finance, the event also paved the way for future collaborative research initiatives.
