Students Excel in Xiaomi’s Rediscovery Concept Competition

PolyU HKCC design students and those enrolled in the General Education subject “Digital Storytelling” have achieved outstanding results in the Rediscovery Concept Competition (「堅TOUGH」 概念創作比賽) organised by Xiaomi. The competition featured two categories: Design and Copywriting, challenging participants to create visuals or slogans that convey the concept of “toughness”. With over 300 entries, the competition was highly competitive.

Design Category

Ten students from the Associate in Design (Advertising Design) programme were selected as finalists:

  • Choi Yat-tung
  • Lam Lok-yiu
  • Lam Yuk-yan
  • Lee Sze-wing Eunice
  • Leung Chun-kit
  • Lo Siu-kwan
  • Ng Choi-wing
  • Wong Mei-ki
  • Yip Eryka Cho-yu

Lam Lok-yiu and Yip Eryka Cho-yu were awarded First Runner-Up, while Ng Choi-wing received a Merit Award.

Copywriting Category

A total of 19 students were named finalists.

Associate in Design (Advertising Design) Students:

Digital Storytelling Students:

Tsang Ching-wai won the Champion title, followed by Tang Chak-sing who was awarded Second Runner-Up. Lo Lok-yiu Kylie and Wong Lok-yi received Merit Awards.
