Sustainable Practices in Organic Farming

On 13 January 2025, students from our finance sub-degree and degree programmes participated in a workshop at Sheung Shui Fu Kam Organic Farm, where they were introduced to traditional net-throwing fishing techniques, the Farm’s aquaponics system and sustainable agricultural practices, as well as how to start and manage an organic farming business. Exploring cost control and profit analysis also enhanced the students’ understanding of sustainable business management, thereby equipping them with valuable knowledge for their future careers.
