Taking the Anchor Seat at Phoenix TV

On 13 February 2026, 21 students from the Associate in Public Relations and Communication, and the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Language and Professional Communication (Digital Media) programmes visited Phoenix TV’s state-of-the-art studio facilities in Hong Kong.

The visit offered participants valuable insights into the broadcaster’s history and the production process behind a live television news programme. Students also experienced the role of a news anchor by reading from a teleprompter in a simulated broadcast. To commemorate this experience, each participant received a certificate marking their debut as a news presenter.
