On 26 September 2025, Chan Lan-mui, a student of PolyU SPEED’s BBA (Hons) in Tourism Service Operations and Management, proudly represented Hong Kong at the 6th Global Tourism Student Talk, hosted by Joji Ilagan International Schools. Held in celebration of World Tourism Day, the virtual event centered on the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation”. Participants explored innovative approaches to integrating environmental protection, cultural heritage preservation, and community empowerment within the tourism sector.
The event offered BHM students valuable insights into sustainable tourism practices and the evolving landscape of responsible tourism. Their active participation underscored the College’s dedication to cultivating future tourism leaders and promoting international collaboration—broadening students’ horizons and strengthening their professional networks.
