On 23 November 2024, PolyU CPCE, together with Matchalike Social Enterprise Company Limited and Treasure Boutique, co-organised a unique event at Dragon Centre - the " Treasure Boutique’s Makeover for Ordinary People and Free Clothing Rental Pilot Programme for Hong Kong Youth Launching Ceremony." This event garnered significant attention from students and the community.
On the day of the event, participating students from PolyU HKCC and PolyU SPEED showcased their creative outfits, fully embodying the concept of sustainable fashion. It was not just a fashion show but also an educational platform for young people to learn how to cherish clothing and make the best use of resources.
The "Free Clothing Rental Pilot Programme for Hong Kong Youth," organised by Treasure Boutique, aims to promote the concept of green consumption. It provides young people with the opportunity to borrow fashionable clothing for free, thereby fostering their environmental awareness and sense of social responsibility.
