The CPCE Employability Services Office (CESO) hosted VentureTHON 2026 on 25 April 2026 at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus. The event was organised in collaboration with the BA (Hons) in Media and Communication Design, BBA (Hons) in Innovation and Design Management, BBA (Hons) in Foodservice Management and Entrepreneurship, and BBA (Hons) in International Business programmes.

VentureTHON is a competition that empowers multidisciplinary students to develop innovative solutions for social challenges in Hong Kong. Combining creativity, entrepreneurship and diverse expertise, it provides a vibrant platform where ideas evolve into impactful ventures. The name “VentureTHON” — a blend of “Venture” and “Marathon” —symbolises the perseverance and innovation required for participants to translate concepts into practical outcomes.

This year’s programme featured inspiring sharing sessions with guest speakers Mr Jimmy Chiu, Advisor of Chan & Associates, and Mr Johnson Lo, CEO of KOLB LIFE Limited, who offered valuable insights into entrepreneurship and innovation.

VentureTHON 2026 reaffirmed CESO’s commitment to nurturing future leaders equipped with the creativity and entrepreneurial drive to make contributions to society.
