
Dr Lau's research interests are cruise ships, ferries, impacts of climate change, shipping education and training, transport history, sustainability issues, resilient supply chain management, health logistics, human remains and regional development.

Dr Leung’s research interests primarily focuses on the fields of information systems and healthcare technology. His research topics include artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, virtual reality (VR), gerontology, cognitive health technology, and aging-related issues. His work has been published in top information systems journals such as Internet Research, Tourism Management, and Computers in Human Behavior.

Dr Xu’s teaching and research interests include consumption experience and brand management, tourism psychology and sociology, and hospitality and event management.

Dr Cheung's research interests include academic discourse analysis informed by Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), technology-enhanced language learning and teaching (TELLT), service-learning as experiential learning, and English-for-Academic-Purposes (EAP) practitioners’ identity and agency. These interests inform his teaching professional development (TPD) initiatives.

Mr Chang's research interests focus on community architecture, installation art, curatorship, placemaking and arts tech. His pedagogic studies cover design thinking and spatial design fundamentals, etc.
