Our 60+ teaching staff members, of whom over 90% hold doctoral degrees, blend academic credentials with a passion for teaching and research, thereby ensuring the highest educational standards.

Our three research centres—Centre for Ageing and Healthcare Management Research (CAHMR), Research Centre for Advanced Design, Materials and Manufacturing Technologies (RCADMM), and Research Centre for Green Energy, Transport and Building (RCGETB)—foster interdisciplinary collaboration and support impactful research.

Our specialised laboratories—Acoustics and Robotics, Electrical Engineering and Physics, Energy Conversion and Utilisation, Healthcare, Mechanics and Control, and Science—are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, providing hands-on training for our students.

Most of our programmes are accredited by leading professional bodies, including The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, and the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, ensuring our graduates are career-ready.

We offer sub-degree programmes, undergraduate top-up degree programmes, and taught postgraduate programmes (master’s degree programmes), enabling students to pursue further studies at different stages of their lives—whether for personal improvement or a career change and obtaining a degree awarded by PolyU, a world top 100 university.
